Launched in 2008, yourpinpoints.com is an online service that looks up a business name, address or place and sends the location to a smartphone on any network.  It allows you to search for an address, a place or business (a Where!) and then send it to a phone. It could be your phone or a buddy of yours! It sends the search result to a phone in a format that is compatible with Nokia Maps, Google Maps etc. You’ll never have to search for locations or places on your GPS phone ever again! You search for your destination online, press send, your phone beeps, and you get going! No more asking for directions ever again. This service is curently for free, but check their website to see the phone compatibility list.
